The three wise monkeys are a Japanese pictorial maxim, embodying the proverbial principle "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil".[1] The three monkeys are
Mizaru (見ざる), "does not see", covering his eyes
Kikazaru (聞かざる), "does not hear", covering his ears
Iwazaru (言わざる), "does not speak", covering his mouth.[2]
Lafcadio Hearn refers to them as the three mystic apes.[3]
There are at least two divergent interpretations of the maxim: in Buddhist tradition, it is about avoiding evil thoughts and deeds. In the West, however, it is often interpreted as dealing with impropriety by turning a blind eye.[4]

Cardiac and Neurological Complications Post COVID-19 Vaccination: A Systematic Review of Case Reports and Case Series ~ Lee, KW et al. (2024)
Three electronic databases were searched for case reports and case series with descriptions of cardiac and/or neurological complications in COVID-19 vaccine recipients. 698 vaccinees were included in this review, of which 259 (37.1%) had cardiac and 439 (62.9%) had neurological complications.
Inflammatory conditions were the commonest among the cardiac complications; while polyneuropathy, demyelinating diseases and cerebrovascular disorders were the more common neurological complications. The mean age of those with cardiac complications (33.8 years) was much younger than those with neurological complications (49.7 years). There was no notable difference in the gender distribution between these two groups of vaccine recipients.
mRNA vaccines (all brands) were associated with almost 90.0% of the cardiac complications, whereas viral vector vaccines were associated with slightly over half (52.6%) of the neurological complications. With regard to the dose, cardiac complications were more common after the second (69.1%), whereas neurological complications were more common after the first dose (63.6%).
5.9% of cases with neurological complications and 2.5% of those with cardiac complications were fatal.

It seems an understatement to suggest that we need all the divine assistance that we can muster in humility against the mantle of evil that has descended on the World. The wanton perversion of those human instruments that once strove to acquire at least a degree of coherence, goodness and rationality appears complete, at least in this moment. Nonetheless, even though we seem beset by the summoned darkness, it remains extraordinary to witness the myriad of people who are not distracted and captivated by the Evil One, that mass of awakened and awakening humanity who are instead drawn toward coherence, ethics, and critical examination, those who seek to embody goodness and Divinity.
