"A Spiritual Battle Of Endurance"
'Drawing On Experience With Bob Moran' ~ an abridged residue with one or two accompanying remarks.
Mike Robinson and Charles Malet speak to Bob Moran, former political cartoonist for the Daily Telegraph. Bob was removed from his job for speaking out against government Covid restrictions and those who promoted those policies. Since then he has continued his hard hitting commentary as a freelance cartoonist - interview: 1hr 27mins
BY THE END OF 2020 / 2021, Bob Moran no longer considered it right to continue in mainstream media. It came with his realisation that “the system” was not self-correcting. After working at The Daily Telegraph for a decade as a political cartoonist, having worked his way up through the ranks, and through several other jobs at different papers that both underscored his apolitical stance and his sole preference of artistically expressing political satire. He was generally satisfied and happy in the manifestation of his occupational dream.
IN 2020 EVERYTHING CHANGED. In the UK, Bob espoused a moral line against lock-downs, masks and testing that as that year went on became an increasingly difficult position for him as he adopted political, moral and ethical positions against the wider loss of freedom, that also including the state intervention in family decisions directing children to seek jabs without the permission or guidance of their parents. By the end of 2021, he was fired from the newspaper, an evident irony today as The Daily Telegraph itself now spruikes the loss of freedom for people losing their jobs for comments on ‘X’.
The announcement of the jabs before even the jabs themselves had physically materialized or were implemented in December 2020 irretrievably changed the game for Bob. He alluded to the assertion of the powers that be at The Daily Telegraph who said, with the impending emergence of jabs:
“We will not as a newspaper publish anything against vaccines.”
Before anyone had even had a jab, Bob pointed out that the jabs were novel and had yet to be experienced on a population wide basis. He urged co-workers and journalists that they should wait to see that happens. Extraordinarily however, he noted how journalists uncritically responded,
“It won’t do any harm because we know all vaccines are safe.”
BOB APPRECIATED THAT SATIRE cannot operate within the ‘machine’, particularly when it is the ‘machine’ that one needs to criticize.
The end of 2021 saw Bob fired in a very public manner from The Daily Telegraph. This ensured that as a persona non grata there would be no future for him in MSM work. On the upside, he found himself free from the direction and constraint of omnipresent editorial control, and his output became prolific through 2022. He identified this as a means of self-repentance, a means of releasing pent-up creativity that had built-up over the institutional MSM years, where he had not been the custodian of his artistic compass.
He transitioned into self-employed with a measure of profound anxiety having previously become habituated to life on a full staff contract at The Daily Telegraph with a salary, pension and paid holidays. The sudden loss of his livelihood and reputation were dual blows that tested both his resilience and resolve. In fairly short order he quickly discovered that he possessed enormous support across the World. The rest then, as they say, is history. His income is now developed from selling his original paintings. He does not monetize his prolific output in any other way. There is no charge to use his work as he believes that the message of awareness transcends any economic imperative.
Did the mainstream know what was going down? Did the people pushing the agendas believe they were doing the right thing?
Bob points out how difficult it was and remains to know who knows who the various individuals might be in various significant positions of power and influence. He rejected the idea that people are widely ‘controlled’ while believing also that there are people in various key or instrumental positions who do direct and influence what is said.
He considers that those at the center of media with a high profiles, those driven by ego, and vanity, those presenters on TV, or people publishing articles and books, these individuals can readily be controlled, essentially by the manner and means in which they are promoted, to not. The don’t necessarily require a ‘handler’. Their self-interest may be relied upon. Bob suggested that ‘controlled’ opposition appears a concept that may perhaps be too complicated to monitor. Ego on the other hand, may be depended upon to ‘manage’ and ‘direct’ most.
(DrLD: Perhaps this is where an AI algorithm also plays out in the proscribed ventilation and management of wider media and the nigh on hermetic insulation of ‘contagious’ information between the UN regional ‘blocs’ ?)
Bob goes on to describe the extant nuance and very heady personal control that exists around editorial policy, influence and control. He notes its explicit grounding in ‘ego’. He comments on the increasingly blurred personas of media and politics and the consequential loss and ensuing de-legitimization of readership, viewers and listeners. In response, the MSM has increasingly sought alternative sources of funding provided by the corporate world (…BigPharma in particular, DrLD).
Bob stated that he would never go back to a controlled situation of employment and discussed the many people clinging onto occupations, positions and jobs who find that they need to make a decision regarding their inability to no longer accept the unethical constraints that have unfolded in their working lives. He appreciated that in this world of evil, where people are increasingly desperate for integrity and the truth and that these people will materially support individuals who care about the truth and ethics.
Now that he is without editorial control he is solely able to follow his own creative ideas that embody his principles. Like so many, he has experienced a seismic shift in perspective since 2020. He described his understanding of how the world has changed dramatically and that he now embraces a new clarity of vision, one that is focused upon the extent of the heinous and wicked things that have unfolded since 2020. He considers that anyone involved in a position power during that time and through the subsequent years needs to be seen in the context of their explicit involvement now. One cannot ignore this reality, or perceive any new story or event as being separate from that time.
Bob considers that we are in a war against the very nature of humanity and one that amounts to a battle for the soul.
Subsidiary lesser ‘battles’ or ‘ends’ around depopulation, destruction of democracy, or restrictions of freedoms he perceives as ‘means’. The ‘end point’ he believes is an attempt to change the very nature of what it means to be a human being, who we are, how we view the world, ourselves and each other, our capacity for love, our spiritual connection, our capacity to create, our understanding of truth and beauty. All these things are under concerted attack. Most importantly to Bob is the way in which children are viewed and treated. It distresses him to see the deliberate way in which the lives of children no longer count, an idea that took hold in the pandemic, and that may be seen in the trans-ideology, and the Gaza situation for example.
Bob finds he has to take risks in pushing satire to the limit and is well aware that this may upset some people. He realises that he has to be willing for everyone to not agree with a particular view he might take. He remarks on how difficult it is to fully detach from that which once was and he observes how many people appear desperate to reattach themselves to the mainstream again. He alludes to the desire of a controlling power that wants to draw you back into the post-2020 paradigm.
He considers that being true to one’s principles, of not losing sight of who the enemy are, and of finding a new security that may be experienced in the fellowship shared among like-minded people, these are the important personal anchors.
A question was raised around the divisions that are occurring within the freedom movement. Bob thinks that the division is part of the plan of attack launched in 2020. He noted how the emergent early concerted and unified push-back was coherent and spanned all social and cultural metrics. It built a momentum for all to see, for example in the Truckers Protest in Canada, (the many other protests across the world, for example in Wellington NZ, in Melbourne and Perth, Australia, in Germany).
He believes that the powers that be eased the pressure on the wider populace, having observed the counter-pressure and resistance building against them. With the quietening of focus, separations, distractions and divisions emerged within the Freedom Community encouraged further by elections, the Ukraine, ‘monkey-pox’ and so on. Simultaneously, many people have already ‘forgotten’ what took place in 2020/2021. Bob is of the view that because of this, the assault will repeat.
The psychological societal break down that was instigated and propagated, together with the installation of a legal means of repeated implementation, the clamping of social media, the wars, the impending financial disaster, the food chain destruction, all of these Bob feels manifest a the brewing “poly-crisis” alluded to in the articulated WEF agenda. (The WEF asserts that a [manufactured] poly-crisis is a conglomeration of risks where, “present and future risks can also interact with each other to form a ‘polycrisis’ – a cluster of related global risks with compounding effects, such that the overall impact exceeds the sum of each part.” This may is also referred to as Cloward-Piven strategy, a Marxist ploy described in 1965 to break the functional capability of the the entire economic and wider functional capability of the capitalist system - DrLD).
So, he feels things are ‘bubbling along quite nicely at the moment’. War is more likely be the modus operandi of further control rather than a medical ‘emergency’ and he suggests that the ‘impression’ of a war may serve to facilitate financial problems, food rationing, even “virus” stuff (Russia sprayed some monkey-pox on us in the UK) and more jabs.
Bob once thought that rational ‘debate’ would be an effective antidote dispelling insanity. He asserted that there appears no logical, scientific, or moral argument to continue the assault. He stressed that no one pointed out the wrong doing since 2020 or before. People were silenced, canceled and demonised and the powers that who orchestrated this are very clever, smart people, far above idiot-politicians.
Bob believes that it is not for us to stop this assault. He suggested that we are engaged in a process of endurance. The effectiveness we bring to resist this assault, to resist the evil ideas, is to remain true to the principles of love, truth, and beauty, and the importance of family, all of which are predicated the ability to sustain ourselves [spiritually] and our humanity for long enough. In the end, evil will be unable to maintain its hold.
He maintains that the perpetrators are bonkers and evil. They cannot and do not understand love, beauty, and creativity. They will end up devouring themselves. Thus we have to be smart, savvy and to prepare; ultimately this war is about spiritual endurance and one in which Bob wants to help people to keep their focus and preserve their values.
What appears to be playing out in the UK (and US and elsewhere) at present is a fostered and cultivated societal disintegration. He points out that it is the government of countries that are destroying the values and the wider moral and social fabric of society, and he discusses the manner in which digital ID may be implemented, namely as the means of ‘proving’ ones national identity and separating illegal immigrants from the legitimate populace, as people cry out demanding that the problem (of a governments intentional making) is ‘solved’.
There is mention of the spiritual battle that extends further into cultural identity, the latter having been intentionally degraded and de-legitimized. Bob points out that institutions that once formerly protected societal values no longer do so. For example the Royal Family and The Queen fully endorsed the jab assault upon society; they betrayed their institutions.
Bob used to think that the free press was effective, and that democracy worked. He no longer recognizes that this is the case. He has now come to perceive that a rigid denial exists among many that those in power are actively trying to harm us.
So now, who is going to save us?
Bob suggested that there is no political savior in the wings. He points out that POTUS DJT lauded to ‘save us all’ was behind all the executive orders leading to lock downs that there was obviously no operation ‘warp speed’, given that the jabs were formulated well before a ‘pandemic’ that was planned, and that DJT still maintains the ‘how wonderful the jabs are’ narrative.
Bob underscores that the mass injecting of 70% of the world is the worst thing that has ever happened in the history of our species. We are now living in the aftermath of that. People will continue to die, to be extremely ill, and to be infertile for many, many years to come. Anyone involved in making this happen is not your friend and should be discounted. They should not be allowed anywhere near power ever again.
The deepest circle of hell Fauci, Gates, et al. and just a hair’s breadth above them you have DJT and Musk….we need someone GOOD. There may be no one. At this point then one only has oneself and those like minded to move forward together to ride this out.
Bob suggests that none of us may be sure about what is around the corner. He feels that he has some understanding of the narrative and although he has some insight on what might happen, he cannot know. He points out that while we may be afraid of physical death, what we really need to be afraid of is spiritual death.
Are people reconciled to taking on the mental battle to the limit?
I not sure Bob says. I hope people understand that is what they need to do. Even if they have no ‘faith’ they need to believe in themselves and their capacity to endure.
What’s next for Bob?
A book is due out on the 11th October 2024 that will be available on his website, replete with sketches, nascent ideas and cartoons. There will be a long essay at the beginning of the book that discusses the development of satire and nature of the carton.

Post Script
He's right about spiritual death, but we've been dead for decades.
That's why the corrupt medical pharma complex was able to introduce shitty vaccines and shitty drugs.
We went along with it.
Heck they used to burn women by calling them witches.
And so on....
Group think has always been strong.
These days I think it's falling apart though and it's not because we forgot our values, but because the values we thought were good were just fantasy (and in some cases based on following books of fantasy).
Bob is a great example of the Law of unintended consequences.
Now he is free of constraint, his output can be unrestrained and highly targeted.
And lets face it, Memes and humor were a large part of the coping mechanisms we the unjabbed fell back to during those dark years.
