One can only assume that Ardern, like many current and past despots who are puppeted from above are actually broken people having all their humanity sucked out of them like the dust out of the World Trade Center. Then with only a dead carcass left, they are reprogrammed to believe that the common man is like a dog in a cage or a rat to be trapped, and that they, along with the support and affection given to them by their cult handlers, become delusionally Royal believing the people on the street need to be saved from their own debauchery.

Read all of Dr. Crichton's work and this highly referenced "fiction" State of Fear was one of his last before cancer hot him. It was a warning to us.

I have admiration for the work and the renaissance like abilities and talents of Dr Crichton. https://www.michaelcrichton.com/works/state-of-fear/

I scratched out my own first blog in 1997 about the falsifiable nonsense of 'glo-bull warming'. When this term was adroitly canned for the defined but unfalsifiable ideological term 'climate change' in 1999, it became immediately apparent where the intended destination lay. An enduring accolade to Dr Crichton comes in the obvious, namely that 'State of Fear' (2004) appears as germane (if not more so) to this time as the day it was published.

Well well. Socialism in New Zealand. Now I know where Jack Lee got the title for his influential 1938 pamphlet from. Thanks for that. Shame I can only give this post one 'Like'!

I will now explain why EVs - which are not in any way shape or form 'Green' - exist.

And why the Ministry of Truth runs endless hype campaigns promoting planet-saving EVs and why governments subsidize them to the tune of hundreds of billions of dollars.

Michael Crichton's 'State of Fear plays this alarming thesis out quite well. It seems clear that the only word in the purulent Green Marxist vocabulary is, "no." 'Progressives' as the Marxist inversion might suggest appear demonstrably welded to 'Regressivism'. For example, there seems a curious and rigid resistance to progress while advocating for unreliable intermittent low density energy, ridiculously unsustainable and hideously uneconomic, dependent as it also is on reliable base load generation. The corporate socialist UN Urban Agenda Habitat III makes it quite clear there is no place for private vehicle ownership (except a bicycle) and hints very obliquely that the population will decline. The expensive and pointless EV illusion then is a virtue signalling intermediate step to nowhere. And while oil is a largely infinite resource, though its rate of supply appears vastly exceeded by its rate of generation, significant change thus beckons. The end of civilisation? Who knows for sure? (...as Michael Chrichton also intimated).

I highly recommend reading this https://fasteddynz.substack.com/p/the-perfect-storm

It was written by the head of research of a global energy trading firm.
