So my church (SSPX) is currently bursting at the seams with people stuffed in a small chapel and gymnasium. The Pastor asked the Bishop if he could use an empty church just on Sundays for ONE Mass. The Bishop said - nope, sorry, the Pope wants empty churches rather than have those dreaded, schismatic Trads occupying pews. If people want to know where society and governments are heading, look to the history of the Catholic Church since Vatican Two and the current state of Church under the marxist Pope.
